After care is key to long lasting results

Scalp

Days 1-4 after your session:

  1. Keep the Area Clean and Dry: Avoid washing your scalp for the first 3-4 days after the procedure. Keep it dry and clean to allow the pigment to settle.
  2. Avoid Sweating & Sun Exposure: Refrain from activities that may cause sweating, and avoid direct sun exposure for at least a week. UV rays can fade the pigment, so wearing a hat when outdoors is recommended.
  3. Avoid Swimming and Steam Rooms: Refrain from swimming in pools, hot tubs, or exposing your scalp to steam rooms and saunas for at least 30 days, as moisture and chlorine can affect healing.
  4. No Touching or Scratching: Avoid touching, scratching, or picking at your scalp to prevent irritation and potential infection.

Day 5 after your session:

  1. Gentle Washing: On Day 5, you can gently wash your scalp with a mild, fragrance-free shampoo. Use lukewarm water and avoid scrubbing the area
  2. Moisturize Carefully: From day 5 onwards, you can apply a light, fragrance-free moisturizer to keep the scalp hydrated. Avoid heavy or greasy products that can clog pores.
  3. Avoid Haircuts and Shaving: Avoid shaving or cutting your hair for at least 10 days. When you do shave, use an electric shaver rather than a razor to avoid irritating the scalp.
  4. Follow Up Appointments: Attend all recommended follow-up sessions to ensure the best results and make any necessary touch-ups.
  5. Long-term Care: After the initial healing period, protect your scalp from the sun with sunscreen or a hat, and use gentle products to maintain the pigmentation.

REDNESS & SWELLING: A slight amount of swelling and redness is typical for a fresh tattoo and should subside within a few days.

Brows

  • Avoid touching your healing brows to prevent bacteria from your hands from causing a potential infection.
  • Keep your brows dry for 7 days. When washing your face, be careful to avoid getting water on the treated area.
  • Refrain from rubbing or picking at the treated area. Flaking skin is a normal part of the healing process. Picking at your brows may cause unwanted gaps that could have been avoided.
  • For the first 7 days, apply a thin layer of ointment to your brows to keep them moist. Use a clean applicator to avoid transferring bacteria from your fingers. Once or twice a day should be sufficient.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning beds, excessive sweating, and makeup on the brow area for at least 10 days. If you need to be in the sun, wear a hat to protect your new brows.
  • Immediately after the procedure, your brows will appear darker and more intense. This is normal and will subside as your skin heals, peels, and the true color emerges.
  • During the healing process, dry, flaky, or itchy skin around the brows is normal. It's important not to rub, pick, or scratch the area.
  • Even with proper aftercare, some patches or fading may occur, which is a normal part of your body's healing process as it adjusts to the new pigment. Touch-up at 4-8 weeks is intended to address any areas where hair strokes may have been lost during healing.
  • Factors like age, skin type, and lifestyle can affect how your body heals, but the typical healing time ranges between 4-6 weeks.

Lips

  • Swelling and bruising are common and should subside within a few days.
  • Avoid touching your lips to prevent bacteria from entering the healing area, which could lead to infection.
  • Do not rub or pick at the treated area; flaking skin is a normal part of the healing process.
  • Refrain from applying makeup on the lips for 7-10 days.
  • Use a Q-Tip to apply ointment like aquaphor or A&D during the first 7-10 days, or until your lips have fully healed.

Tattoo

  • Moisturize: Apply a thin layer of recommended ointment until fully healed.
  • Sun Protection: Keep it out of direct sunlight; use sunscreen after healing.
  • Avoiding Irritation: Don’t pick, scratch, or wear tight clothing over the tattoo.
  • Preventing Infection: Watch for signs like redness or swelling and consult a professional if needed.
  • Healing typically takes 2-4 weeks. Proper care ensures sharp, long-lasting tattoo.
